Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the wild west in a fantastic game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By betting against the dealer, new players don’t have to fret about any other, more experienced gamblers taking their cash.

One more Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and plan while not needing to make quick choices.

It’s also much simpler to bet on for an extended time with just a tiny bit of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the croupier is given seven cards face down.

One five card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
