Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the wild west in a wonderful game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards face up and the casino gets seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
