Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in a wonderful game for early level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the dealer, not like most other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don’t need to fret about any other, more skillful people taking their mulla.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, rookies should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make quick decisions.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a long time with only a little amount of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
